Join two experienced guides, Julie Curson and Caroll Drazen, on a walk along Philly's Rail Park. They will point out some sculptures, plantings, buildings and murals along the way. You will exit down the steps and may then walk to see the Viaduct and a parking lot with Spring Arts murals. A printed list of suggestions for lunch nearby will be provided.
Caroll Drazen and Julie Curson were classmates at the University of Pennsylvania in the 1960s, but they didn't really know each other until about 10 years ago. That's when they both joined the 'class' of volunteer guides for Philadelphia's Mural Arts Program. They both continue to give tours of our city's murals. Caroll is an accomplished artist and recently moved with her husband to Queen Village. Julie authored 6 editions of "A Guide's Guide to Philadelphia." She has lived by Rittenhouse Square for many years.
