The recently renovated historic building has something for everyone from single and family memberships to the library, exhibitions, and programs.

The Athenaeum is a nationally renowned repository of architectural history housed in a National Historic Landmark Building.

Event limit: 20 FITC members

Event cost:  $11.  Tour is $10, $1 for FITC costs. Refunds (minus $2) available until May 27th.

Getting there: The Atheneum is on Washington Square, 6th St. between Walnut and Locust. Buses on Market, Chestnut and Walnuts stop near by as well as the #47 from North and South Philadelphia.  Street parking is very limited.

Accessibility: From 6th Street there are four steps into the lobby.  If you need handicap access there is a ramp at the back of the building.
