Zumba Gold in a Chair

A new season of Zumba Gold will be starting soon!

Zumba Gold is a Latin-inspired fitness program developed specifically for the older adult. The music is uplifting as the program guides the students through: 1) warm up, 2) increasing the heart rate by using arm and mild leg movements, 3) cool down... all while sitting in a chair. Light weights are often used for additional strength training. Zumba focuses on a “Join the Party” atmosphere while building core, leg arm strength and cardio-vascular health all while having fun. You’ll end the class humming a song and smiling!!

Classes will be taught by FitC member and Zumba instructor Dyann Paoline.  After many years in the corporate world, Dyann followed her passion and began teaching fitness classes in 2014. She is licensed in Zumba, Zumba Gold, Zumba Kids, Chair Yoga, Balletone and is a Certified Personal Trainer. Dyann specializes in Zumba Gold and Chair Zumba Gold, focusing on fitness for older adults.

This will be an 8-class series on Wednesdays at 3:00 PM from April 20 through June 8, on Zoom.  The Zoom link will be sent the day before each class.

Now is the time to get in on this as we will be taking a break for the summer!
