                             Jessica Campbell

The Fabric Workshop and Museum is an internationally-acclaimed contemporary art museum.

We'll be guided around both the exhibits --Risa Puno's Group Hug, Jessica Campbell's Heterodoxy, and John Jarboe's The Rose Garden--and behind-the-scenes-- FWM’s seventh floor archive where we will explore a variety of stored collection pieces and process materials from former Artists-in-Residence and get a first-hand look at how their work is preserved. This tour will demystify collection management and provide a closer look at the life of an object in the museum’s care. We will encounter a selection of works in storage by artists such as Roy Lichtenstein, Renée Green, and Marie Watt, plus take the opportunity to sift through process materials produced during residencies with Carrie Mae Weems, Ann Hamilton and Sonya Clark.

After the tour, those who wish to may join me for lunch at Reading Terminal Market. Please text me at 610-209-4751 to let me know. We'll meet in front of the museum.

Event Cost $11 per person.  Refunds available (less $1.50 FitC Refund Charge) until May 8th.
