FitC plays Canasta!

Looking for a place to play Canasta?
FitC is starting a weekly Canasta Group every Friday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM beginning September 18, 2026, and continuing on subsequent Fridays.
This is not a learn-to-play group. It is intended for players who already know the fundamentals of Canasta and are looking to meet others and enjoy friendly games in a welcoming atmosphere.
Whether you already have a partner or are looking to connect with other players, please join us.
We are seeking 12-16 regular players to run the group. Once you register, your email will be provided to the group's facilitator, who will reach out to you. We will provide decks of cards, scorecards, and other materials. We MAY require a joining fee of no more than $10 per person for these materials; this will depend on how much interest we receive in the group. Questions regarding registration and joining the group? LOCATION
Entrance - 17 Letitia Street
NOTE: There is no sign designating the name on the building. Look for 17 Letitia Street for the entrance, 1/2 block below Market Street between 2nd and Front.
Accessibility: To get to the accessible entrance from the street, when you arrive, call the concierge at 215-574-7691 to help you to the elevator.
If you drive: There is limited street parking on Letitia Street, and a small (pay) lot in the rear of the building. Metered parking is available on Front St., usually with spaces.
Other transportation notes: The location is a half block south of Market Street, between 2nd and Front St. The 17 and 48 buses and the Market-Frankford line stop at 2nd and Market.
