A VIP Tour Through Independence Park

Join us for a virtual tour of Independence National Historical Park with David Schwartz, a FitC member and volunteer park ranger and walking tour guide at the Park for the past six years.  This program was originally scheduled as a walking tour, but due to covid limitations, David will speak with us on Zoom and share photos.  He will include parts of his tour talks to visitors inside Independence Hall, Congress Hall, Old City Hall, and at the Liberty Bell and other sites.  In addition to the historical information, he will share stories of his experiences with Park rangers and guides, student groups, and visitors from all over the world.

David Schwartz is the author of a new book, A VIP Day at Independence Park, which takes the reader behind-the-scenes throughout a day as a volunteer-in-parks (VIP), leading tours and speaking with visitors.  It is available on Amazon books.
