Treat yourself to a rich semla (a cream and almond paste-filled Swedish pastry) along with a cup of hot coffee and a Swedish film. Semlas are often eaten before the start of Lent, the Swedish version of “Fat Tuesday.” And the semla we’ll eat will be made for us at the museum.
The film (to be chosen soon) will be an entertaining Swedish film with subtitles, either a romantic comedy or a “feel-good” movie. Or you can see the museum.
We’ll have a reserved table for our group to sit together. I’ll be there at 10:45 am—look for a “reserved sign” on the table that’s ours.
Event Cost: $17($16 for tickets and $1 for FitC processing). The ticket price includes one semla, a cup of hot coffee, the film viewing, and admission to the museum. No refunds after February 1 (refunds are less $1.50 FitC Refund Charge); tickets will have been purchased and the museum does not give refunds.
Note that the cost of this event also includes admission to the museum. Senior museum admission is generally $10.
Event Limit: 8 FitC Members. If the event is full, sign up for the wait list. If there are enough on the wait list, we'll add another title.
