This is a very laid-back brewery (so please bring your patience and your flexibility). We will have the brewer chat with us about the brewery and their products, but otherwise, we are on our own to select drafts or bottles from their small, but impressive, list. Seating is in the main bar area around three tables.
Fermentery Form describes itself as following: “We are a small artisan brewery in West Kensington, Philadelphia. We produce delicate and flavorful beers, fermented with our own mixed cultures. A central pillar of our production is our oak barrel stack. This pyramid of barrels contains beer of various ages, in an array of oak types from around the world. This allows us a broad palette for blending beers to our unique taste……….All of our beers are made by 'mixed fermentation.’ This means they are co-fermented with various strains of yeast and bacteria. Instead of purchasing yeast from a lab, we work with mother cultures that we maintain. This is a very old way of producing beer that is being made new again.”
Event Limit: 16 FitC Members
Event Cost: $16 total per person (this includes $15 that can be put drafts or bottles + $1 FitC fee). You can add your tip when you settle your tab; it is not included. Credit cards and cash are accepted. Deadline for registration and payment, cancellation with refund, and receipt of your check (if you are not paying online): February 28, 2026.
Accessibility: The brewery is wheelchair and walker accessible, although Palethorp Street, which leads to the brewery, is full of potholes.
Parking/Transportation: The brewery is located at 1700 N. Palethorp Street. Parking is very difficult to find in this neighborhood. Public transportation is a better option:
A) (Best option) From 3rd and Market, take Bus #57 north to Cecil B. Moore & American Street. Walk east on Cecil B. Moore to Palethorp Street, then walk north half a block. Look for the green light to mark Fermentery Form in this small street (there is no sign).
B) Take the L (Market-Frankford El) east to the Berks Station. Then walk west on W. Berks to N. Hancock (or Mascher or Howard or other), south to Cecil B. Moore, then west on CB Moore. The brewery is between Hancock and 2nd, just north of Cecil B. Moore. Look for the green light (since there is no sign).
C) For other public transportation options, consult: https://plan.septa.org/#/ or https://www.google.com/maps/dir

If you must cancel after the deadline, please contact Cheri. Please do not contact Heather Speirs for any reason, before or after the deadline.
