Chair Yoga - IN PERSON
Instructor, Meredith Magoon has taught FitC's Zoom Yoga class for many years.
Chair yoga is a gentle, modified form of yoga using a sturdy chair for support, adapting traditional poses to be done seated or using the chair for balance. This class is accessible for seniors, beginners, or those with injuries. According to Brown University Health, chair yoga offers benefits such as increased circulation, feelings of well-being, decreases in blood pressure, anxiety, inflammation, and chronic pain.

Cost: The price for the 6-session series is $76.00*, payable in advance. *Refunds are available until February 16, less a $2 FitC cancellation fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made February 17 or later. This class will only run if there are a minimum of 7 participants. Full refunds will be given if the class does not run.
Location: Classes will be at 22 South Front Street, Philadelphia
Days/Times: Tuesdays, from 2 - 3 PM. 6 class meetings to begin on February 17 and continue until March 24.

Entrance - 17 Letitia Street
NOTE: There is no sign designating Riverfront on the building. Look for 17 Letitia Street for the entrance, 1/2 block below Market Street between 2nd and Front.
Accessibility: To get to the accessible entrance from the street, when you arrive, call the concierge at 215-574-7691 to help you to the elevator.
If you drive: There is limited street parking on Letitia Street, and a small (pay) lot in the rear of the building.
Other transportation notes: Location is a half block south of Market Street, between 2nd and Front St. The 17 and 48 buses and the Market-Frankford line stop at 2nd and Market. Metered parking is available on Front St., usually with spaces.
