Money in Motion: The Federal Reserve

See a $100,000 bill and get a bag of shredded cash at the Philadelphia Federal Reserve, which has just opened a new museum. 

See bills from the original 13 colonies and a counterfeit note. Learn about the history of money and banking in the United State. There are also games, such as one where  you try to spot counterfeit bills as a cheesesteak shop worker, using various methods like UV lighting, 

This is a self-guided tour, so you'll choose what you want to learn about. 

Allow time to go through tight security before entering since the vault contains literally billions of dollars in cash.

Directions: The entrance to the exhibit is located along North 6th Street between Arch and Race Street.. You should see signs pointing the way.
