"A Portraiture of the City of Philadelphia in the Province of Pennsylvania in America, 1683. Thomas Holme and William Penn."

We will meet at City Hall, Center Courtyard.  Please plan to arrive at 10:45 am.

Beginning at City Hall's Courtyard (Central Square), we will walk to Logan Square (Northwest Square), Rittenhouse Square (Southwest Square), Washington Square (Southeast Square), and finally Franklin Square (Northeast Square).  Our volunteer tour guide FitC member Marion Parkinson will have fun facts about each of the squares as we go along, and little tidbits along the way.

While Franklin Square can be the "official" end of the walk, for those that still have energy to burn, we will continue to the Rail Park, then back to City Hall.  Of course, anyone who feels the need, can drop out at any point and take whichever SEPTA route is close by.

Weather should be cooler, but be sure to dress in layers, wear sturdy shoes, and bring water.

Event Limit: 15.  Non-FitC members may register after 24 hours. Please register by November 6, 2026. Please let us know if your plans change and you can’t make it.

Event Cost: Free

Accessibility: Most if not all Philly sidewalks have curb cuts.  As usual, sidewalks may be uneven.

Questions about the event: contact FitC volunteer Marion Parkinson at mjparki@gmsail.com or text 215-901-0767
