The brewery rotates eight beers brewed onsite weekly, including, for example, an Irish red and a dry Irish stout, an English pub ale, a hard ginger beer, a West Coast pilsner brewed in collaboration with many breweries that we have visited, and even a milkshake DIPA, among several others. The taproom, in the hills of Manayunk, continues a tavern legacy begun in 1918. They write, “Twisted Gingers Brewing Company is …..powered by passion for doing great things in life….. Our philosophy is to Celebrate Life with a Twist.”
In addition to their delicious brews, Twisted Gingers specializes in artisan pizza, inspired by the father of one of the owners, who was a pizza king at his pub in North New Jersey. Hard seltzers & ciders, canned cocktails and sparkling spring waters round out the menu.
Note: Pizza can be ordered starting at 5:00, so we will be first in line for that popular item.
